New York City may be under a deluge of snow, but Kelly Ripa is prepared. The Live with Regis and Kelly host posted a photo of herself wearing an owl winter hat on Twitter.
While Ripa keeps warm, the search is on for who will replace Regis Philbin when the host leaves the show this year, after 28 years on the air. Rumored replacements have included Ryan Seacrest, Mario Lopez, Survivor host Jeff Probst, The Bachelor host Chris Harrison, Ripa's husband Mark Consuelos and How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris.
But ABC executives, who have yet to comment on the hiring, could bring out a new name. Lists of potential replacements for Kathie Lee Gifford circulated widely in 2001, but Ripa was not even on those lists. —ISHITA SINGH
