With her movie For Colored Girls out in theaters on Friday, Janet Jackson posted this photo on Twitter of the set of Entertainment Tonight, where she, along with castmates Phylicia Rashad, Kerry Washington, Thandie Newton and others, as well as director Tyler Perry, discussed their new film.
Jackson recently expressed her desire to have a family while at a press junket promoting the film. “I’d love to have a family. But really, it’s in God’s hands. So, if it’s meant to be, I’ll have one. I hope it does.” She denied rumors that she was engaged to Qatar billionaire businessman Wissam Al Mana, but told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show that she was very happy with her relationship.
The singer and actress also has a self-help book on the way, titled True You. The book will include vignettes from Jackson's childhood, as well as discussions of body image, self-esteem and weight loss. –ISHITA SINGH
