With his new cop drama Blue Bloods averaging more than 11 million viewers an episode, Donnie Wahlberg has plenty to tweet about. He posted the above photo of himself on the set of the show, which also stars Tom Selleck, Bridget Moynahan, Len Cariou and Will Estes.
"Live from the crime scene…" he tweeted this morning.
Blue Bloods is a story about a family of New York City crime fighters who view cases from every level of the police force. Selleck plays the family's patriarch and commissioner of the NYPD. Wahlberg is his elder son, a seasoned detective, Estes is the rookie and younger son, and Moynahan plays the daughter, who is an assistant district attorney. Cariou portrays Selleck's father and a retired police commissioner.
The show has consistently outperformed its competitors — Outlaw on NBC and 20/20 on ABC — in its Friday 10 p.m. time slot. –ISHITA SINGH
