Phil Heath Wins Mr. Olympia 2015 After Kai Greene Is Barred From Competing
Phil Heath won the title Mr. Olympia on Saturday for the fifth consecutive year.
PHIL HEATH WINS MR. OLYMPIA
Heath took home the title of Mr. Olympia this year, just as he had for the past five years. The last person to win five years in a row was Ronnie Coleman who took the title years 1998-2002, and then again in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
The prize money was higher than ever this year, with the grand prize being a total of $400,000, while last year, Heath took home $275,000 for his win.
One of Heath’s strongest competitors, Kai Greene, who has come in second place at Mr. Olympia for three consecutive years, was unable to compete this year for reasons unknown. Greene recently released a YouTube video explaining that he had been banned from the competition, but did not disclose the reasons behind the expulsion.

With Greene out of the running, Heath’s path to the title was perhaps slightly less challenging than it may otherwise have been.
