Phil Collins Says Daughter Lily Collins Is ‘Just Friends’ With Nick Jonas

Nick Jonas and Lily Collins are not dating each other, according to Phil Collins.

Earlier this week, reports claimed that Jonas and Collins, who’ve long been close friends, had decided to pursue a romantic relationship with one another. Although sources claimed Jonas and Collins weren’t exclusive, they suggested that things were certainly more than friendly between the two.

“Nick really likes Lily,” an insider told Us Weekly. Another added, “Nick’s single and having fun. Right now it’s not exclusive.”

“It’s new. They just started to hang out,” a source told People magazine. “It’s casual, but they like each other.”

Last month, Jonas and Collins were spotted at L.A.’s Bowlero Mar Vista, where they apparently “spent the night laughing together.”

Pouring cold water on the relationship rumors is Lily’s father, singer-songwriter Phil Collins. “[I’m] not sure what Nick looks like,” Phil joked to Yahoo! “But Lily called me the other day, and she was in Mammoth where all this was happening. ‘I’m here with a friend,’ she told me, and said, ‘It’s not serious. It’s just friends.”

Jonas was last publicly linked to Kate Hudson, while Collins last dated Jamie Campbell Bower.
