Peyton Manning Obsesses About ‘Emily In Paris’ In Viral ‘SNL’ Sketch

A surprise guest star ended up stealing the show during this past live airing of Saturday Night Live, and it was none other than all-star former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning. Twisting expectations, Manning was brought in as an expert guest to supposedly talk football but refused to stop talking about his latest Netflix obsession, Emily In Paris.

Despite Weekend Update host Colin Jost’s repeated attempts to defuse Manning’s rant, he just kept on snowballing more and more into descriptions of the dynamics of the Lily Collins-led comedy-drama. Manning showed some impressive comedic delivery in the sketch, not skipping a beat when describing the different characters and some signature lines of the show.

Either Manning rehearsed his lines religiously, or he really has a deep-seated love of the show that he’s using for the sake of the sketch. He even donned a red beret at the close of the sketch in honor of Emily in Paris. You can watch the full sketch below:

Since Manning didn’t provide us with any NFL updates, here’s the latest. The Cincinnati Bengals will be facing off against the L.A. Rams for Super Bowl 2022. The Bengals are the underdogs, having been considered one of the worst NFL teams in the country two years ago. They’ll be challenging the Rams at the team’s home stadium SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The Super Bowl takes place on Sunday, February 13.
