On Monday night, Pete Davidson had zero tolerance for a heckler who reportedly made an insensitive joke about rapper Mac Miller’s death.

During his set at the South Orange Performing Arts Center in New Jersey, the Saturday Night Live comedian was in the middle of a joke saying “so a funny thing happened to me recently in my apartment … my friend died of a heart attack.” When according to a recording obtained by TMZ, just before Davidson could get to his punchline, a showgoer yellowed out, “Mac Miller!”

Reportedly Davidson then immediately stopped his set to locate the heckler, asking “who’s that guy? We’re getting him out.”

“I’ll wait. I will not continue until that kid’s gone,” he continued according to audio from the show. “I’ll leave, so if you want the show to continue, call out the person who did it. Gotta get him the f–k out, give his money back and get him the f–k out. I don’t deal with that s–t at my show.”

“This show is just for fun…I’m not gonna have that s–t at my show,” Davidson added.

After encouraging members in the audience to point the person out, they were eventually able to identify the person, who was then escorted out by security.

“I hope you’re proud of yourself. You just f–king f–ked up everything,” Davidson said. “I’m gonna have to f–king do jokes that I know work,” he added, which was met with some laughter from the audience.

“Make sure he gets his money back, too,” the comedian instructed before resuming his set. “I don’t want his money.”

Last year on September 7, Miller was found dead in his Studio City, California home. The 26-year-old had died of an accidental overdose of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol.

At the time when new’s broke of Miller’s death, Davidson was engaged to Miller’s ex-girlfriend, Ariana Grande.

The pop singer had just split with Miller when it was confirmed that she and Davidson had recently started dating in May and less than a month later with Davidson proposing. But last October, just two months after Miller’s death, Grande and Davidson called it quits.

“It was way too much too soon,” a Grande source told People. “It’s not shocking to anyone.”

Since their split, Davidson has appeared to have gotten back in the swing of dating, as he was recently spotted with actress Kate Beckinsale at a Golden Globes afterparty.

A few weeks ago, the pair were also spotted holding hands as they left music and comedy venue Largo at the Coronet in West Hollywood, California, after Davidson’s stand-up show. But according to a source close to Beckinsale, her relationship with Davidson will most likely not go any further.
