Pentatonix members Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying, Avi Kaplan, Kristin Maldonado and Kevin Olusola, uploaded a YouTube video on June 22, of them singing popular songs of Michael Jackson.
First they did a tribute to Beyonce, then Miley Cyrus, and now the beloved King of Pop. The six-minute video starts off with a five-part a cappella rendition of the Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back.” The super catchy video also highlights Jackson’s other hit-songs including, “ABC” “Don’t Stop ‘Till You Get Enough” and “Beat It.” The video ended with a soft medley of the late pop singer’s “Heal The World.”
Last month the Grammy-award winning band, released a documentary called On My Way Home which followed their 2015 sold-out North American tour and included behind the scene footage and onstage performances. “Our manager told us, ‘What you do is so interesting and unique, it would be cool to document your tour because you’ll also be doing your first original album at the same time,'” Hoying told Billboard.
The documentary is available on Vimeo on Demand. Watch the trailer for On My Way Home below:
