A capella sensation Penatatonix have partnered up with country legend Dolly Parton to create a new version of the singer’s hit 1973 “Jolene.”
Pentatonix gained fame while competing on NBC’s The Sing-Off (2009-2014) in 2011. They’re viral YouTube videos sparked more followers, and on Oct 21 the group will release their Christmas album, A Pentatonix Christmas. The album will feature classic and modern holiday songs, plus some original music as well.
Parton is currently touring for her Pure & Simple Tour throughout Canada and the Northwest. Pentatonix will begin their World Tour in Taipei on Nov. 3, and ending on Nov. 22, 2017 in Houston.
Parton and the group did the “Jolene” music video as part of Cracker Barrel’s Spotlight Music Program. Pentatonix is also advertising for their new album. See the video below.
