Paulina Gretzky Praises ‘No Ego’ Husband Dustin Johnson

Paulina Gretzky is appearing on the new cover of KIND magazine’s fall edition.

In her interview, she paid an emotional tribute to her husband, LIV Golf star Dustin Johnson, for the great example he sets for their children.

Gretzky, 34, is the daughter of Wayne Gretzky, perhaps hockey’s most iconic player in history.

She and Johnson have two children, and the family lives just ten minutes away from Gretzky’s parents in North Palm Beach, Florida.

Gretzky often attracts more attention than her famous husband with her form-fitting fashion looks on the links.

“The example I set for my kids with Dustin is we have to do it together,” she said. “We’re not always on the same page, but we trust each other enough so that I know he’s doing right by our children and he knows I’m doing right by our kids—we talk about it, but at the fundamental level is trust.”

She continued, “His patience is fantastic. No ego and it was funny seeing the kids realize who their dad is, and who my dad is, but we don’t want them to be raised differently… Of course, we want them to know that they’re special, everyone is. But around the house, my dad is grandpa and Dustin is dad.”

Gretzky reports that while Johnson and her father bond over sports, her husband and mother are also very close.

“The way he loves my mom and respects her is a huge part of everything and not just for me, but for all of us kids,” she said.

Johnson and Gretzky started to date in 2013 and were married in April 2022.

Johnson emerged victorious in the 2016 U.S. Open and four years later won The Masters.

In May 2022, Johnson moved to the controversial LIV Golf League.

He was not present at the Ryder Cup in Rome last weekend, where the USA team was beaten by Europe.

Gretzky’s cover was revealed on Tuesday.

KIND posted the cover on Instagram with the caption, “This edition delves into self-love, kindness, pleasure, and discovering the path to your healthiest self, beginning from within. Gretzky has long been excited about the shoot and first shared footage in August.
