Actress Paula Patton looked effortlessly stylish in a printed black dress at the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball over the weekend.
To the event, Patton wore the printed black Alexander McQueen Resort 2016 jacquard tier dress that features floral detailing and a corseted top. She completed her look with a pair of strappy black heeled sandals.
Inside the fete, Patton spent some time hanging out with Queen Latifa.
Patton, who is currently promoting her new blockbuster Warcraft, has recently opened up about her son. As of now, 6-year-old Julian Fuego seems more likely to follow his father Robin Thicke into music than his mother into acting.
“He’s taking after his father now, as he loves to sing and play the piano,” Patton told Haute Living.
Talking about the balancing act of being a mother and maintaining her acting career, Patton said that Julian will come first no matter what.
“At the end of the day, whatever project I do, I give it all my heart, soul and passion,” she explained. “I am very grateful to do what I do, but my child comes first. Always. As long as I know that, then everything else falls in line and you just do the best you can.”
Warcraft is currently in theaters.
