Paul McCartney’s tour Freshen Up will continue on throughout most of summer 2019. This tour began after the release of his album Egypt Station and includes not only songs from this album but also songs from McCartney’s time in Wings and The Beatles. The tour began September 18 in Quebec City and will end on July 13 in Los Angeles.

On the tour, McCartney provides the lead vocals for his band and plays various instruments, like bass guitar and piano. Along with McCartney, Rusty Anderson and Brain Rays play on electric guitar, acoustic and bass, Paul Wickens works the keyboards, and Abe Laboriel Jr. bangs on the drums. McCartney’s career in songwriting began during the 1970s with the Beatles. He spent ten years with the Beatles and eleven years with Wings.

After one of McCartney’s most recent show in Wisconsin, the Green Bay Press-Gazette shared the moment of the icon singing “Hey Jude” at Lambeau Field.
