Former Beatle Paul McCartney, 68, has announced his engagement to New York businesswoman Nancy Shivelli. A source close to Shivelli told People that the engagement involved “a ring and all,” indicating that the couple wants to keep details as private as possible.
This will be McCartney’s third marriage. He was married to Linda McCartney from 1967 until she passed away from cancer in 1998. Then he married married former model Heather Mills from 2002 to 2006. Mills and McCartney have a daughter together, Beatrice McCartney.
In 1997, McCartney was knighted by the queen for his contributions to the music industry.
