Paul Feig’s latest reveal about his forthcoming female-driven Ghostbusters flick is the iconic Ecto-1 vehicle his leading ladies will be driving.
“#whattheygonnadrive,” Feig captioned a snap of the ride.
When asked if the Ecto-1 came in black, the director admitted that it was modeled from a hearse – which does happen to come in black. Incidentally, Feig’s Ecto-1 bears some similarities to Dan Akroyd‘s original drawings for the vehicle.
It was announced earlier this year that Saturday Night Live alum Kristen Wiig would be starring alongside current SNL castmembers Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones, as well as Melissa McCarthy.
In recent months, others have been added to the cast, including Chris Hemsworth, who will play the ladies’ receptionist. Michael K. Williams, Andy Garcia, Matt Walsh and Neil Casey will also be in the film.
