Less than two weeks after she claimed Justin Bieber, 17, was the father of her baby, Mariah Yeater has dropped the paternity suit against him. Yeater, 20, had claimed that she and Bieber had unprotected intercourse backstage after one of his concerts and the result was their four-month-old child, MTV.com reports.

Bieber and his camp had vigorously denied the allegations from the moment they were made earlier this month — around the time that Beiber's Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe, was first released. Yeater had claimed in a signed affidavit that she had sex with Bieber last October. Now, not only has the suit been withdrawn, but Yeater's lawyers Lance Rogers and Matt Pare have quit representing her.

Yeater, who was 19 at the time the alleged tryst took place, appeared on The Insider earlier this month to describe Bieber as "aggressive," claiming that he refused to wear a condom. Bieber's team hit back, promising that the singer would take a DNA test to prove his innocence and that they would file a lawsuit against Yeater once Bieber's name was cleared.

No word yet on how Bieber's team will react now Yeater's suit has been withdrawn.
