Paris Jackson To Star In Film Opposite Joel Edgerton & Charlize Theron

Paris Jackson, the 19-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson, has graced the covers of several magazines, been seen at the 2017 Met Gala, and made several very famous friends over the past year. But now, the rising star is going to focus on a career in modeling and acting.

Jackson is reportedly set to make her major film debut in an untitled Nash Edgerton project owned by Amazon Studios. Edgerton, brother of actor Joel Edgerton, directed the Austrailian thriller, The Square and is a former stunt man and stunt coordinator.

In the film, Jackson will play an “edgy 20-year-old” but wont be the only star on screen. David OyelowoCharlize TheronThandie NewtonAmanda Seyfried and Joel Edgerton are all set to be in the film.

The premise of the untitled project follows a mild-mannered businessman (Oyelowo) who suddenly finds himself in a world of crime after an “incident” in Mexico. The film is said to be a dark comedy.

Jackson has only one other acting credit to her name thus far – she made an appearance on an episode of Star, the Empire spin-off staring Queen Latifah, and Benjamin Bratt.

Back in March, Jackson appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and briefly discussed her acting career and her appearance on Star.

Jackson also discusses getting her modeling career underway – she signed with modeling giant IMG earlier this year.
