Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson’s surviving daughter, has traded in her brown locks for a new red hairstyle.

Jackson, 17, was spotted out and about in her neighborhood of Calabasas, Calif., over the weekend rocking a new red ombre hairstyle. The teen, who was out grabbing sushi with a male pal, had her edgy hair styled in loose waves and parted to the side.

Over the last week, Jackson has been showing off her new hair on Instagram with a series of snaps.

Since her father’s death in 2009, Jackson has had some ups and downs, including an apparent suicide attempt. However, these days, Paris is said to be doing well and leading a relatively normal life.

“She is doing a lot better. She is getting back to normal,” a source told E! News.

Another sourced added, “She seems good, definitely better than before. She seems a lot more mature, confident and at peace with herself.”
