Paris Jackson May Star In Madonna Biopic, Producers Hope Casting Will Calm Singer
The producers of the new Madonna biopic, Blond Ambition, are reportedly seeking out an actress that the superstar singer will approve of. And now, they think they have found one in star-on-the-rise Paris Jackson, daughter of Michael Jackson.
“Madonna is not supporting the film yet but the makers are hoping to cast someone who she will love. At the moment they are in talks with Paris. If she agrees it will be a massive coup for producers as Madonna is a big fan of Paris,” a source told the Sunday Mirror.
Madonna spoke out against the film late in April through a post to Instagram. “Nobody knows what I know and what I have seen. Only I can tell my story. Anyone else who tries is a charlatan and a fool,” the “Vogue” singer wrote.
Blonde Ambition was written by Elyse Hollander and the script landed itself atop the Black List – a list of the best un-produced scripts. It is set to focus on Madonna’s early days in New York City during the recording of her first album.
Jackson has suddenly become very busy and has spoken about her commitment to pursuing acting. She is currently set to star alongside David Oyelowo, Charlize Theron, Thandie Newton, Amanda Seyfried and Joel Edgerton, in an Amazon Studios film directed by Edgerton’s brother, Nash Edgerton.
Madonna and Jackson’s father had a close relationship and both were atop the pop charts and the same time through out their careers. They were very briefly romantically involved.
