Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie Revisit Their Falling Out On The Red Carpet For Their New Series
Besties Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie reunited at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, where they gathered alongside other celebrities for the CFDA Awards.
The 43-year-olds posed together on the red carpet, with Hilton in a rose-covered mini dress and Richie in a black form-fitting gown. The posed with American Accessory Designer of the Year Award winner Raul Lopez.
The duo, who were launched to fame with their reality television series The Simple Life, are gearing up for their new show, Paris & Nicole: The Encore.
Hilton and Richie were recently featured in a W Magazine editorial shoot, in which they discussed their famous 2005 feud, in which Hilton allegedly hinted she’d prefer a new co-star on The Simple Life.
In the interview, Richie called the fight “a little blip” in their decades-long friendship, and Hilton said “the world was definitely making a way bigger deal of it than it actually was.”
Paris & Nicole: The Encore will serve as a reboot to their 2000’s reality show, which ended in 2007. Richie said she joked with Hilton about doing something for the show’s 20th anniversary, and the idea eventually spawned into the upcoming series.
“We gave it room to marinate, and it just felt right,” Richie said.
In June, Hilton testified before Congress to advocate for stronger protections for children in foster care and residential treatment facilities.
