Pamela Anderson Posts Nude Pic To Celebrate Getting Cured Of Hepatitis C

Pamela Anderson announced that she’s been cured of Hepatitis C on Instagram with a risqué nude picture.

Anderson took to Instagram over the weekend to share with her fans and followers that she was officially free of the Hep C virus. In the accompanying photo, the former Baywatch star is pictured naked, sitting in a boat.

“I am CURED!!! – I just found out #nomorehepc #thankyou #blessing #family #prayer #live I pray anyone living with Hep C can qualify or afford treatment,” Anderson wrote. “It will be more available soon.”

Anderson announced her Hepatitis diagnosis back in 2002, explaining that she had contracted it through a tattoo needle that has been previously used on her ex-husband Tommy Lee.

“A tattoo artist came to our hotel because Tommy wanted a specific tattoo. He was doing his tattoo, and I was looking through the art book that this guy brought. And I said, ‘Oh, my God, oh, that is such a beautiful tattoo. Can I have that, too?’” Anderson recalled. “And he goes, ‘Well I only brought one needle, but you guys are married. I mean there’s nothing you could give each other, is there?’ And I was like, ‘No.’ And Tommy goes, ‘No.’ I get the tattoo, time passes, and after a physical, my doctor calls and says I have hepatitis C.”

A couple of months ago, Anderson brought up her Hep C diagnosis while talking to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. At the time, she told him there was a 98% chance she would be be cured by Nov. 1 after previous failed treatments.

“I am taking medicine right now, they have come up with a cure,” she told Cohen. “I am almost half way through and by November 1, I should be cured — a 98 per cent chance.”
