Pamela Anderson & Jon Peters End Marriage After Just 12 Days
If you purchased a gallon of milk two weeks ago, there’s a chance it lasted longer than Anderson and Peter’s marriage. Former Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson and film producer Jon Peters have split up after being married for a total of 12 days.
On January 20, the movie mogul and acting icon both got married in secrecy in Malibu, California. The couple met over 30 years ago and collaborated together with Playboy magazine.
“There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but — for 35 years — I’ve only wanted Pamela. She makes me wild — in a good way. She inspires me. I protect her and treat her the way she deserves to be treated,” Peters told The Hollywood Reporter.
Anderson’s social media team decided to upload an old selfie of her yesterday, with a quote regarding the pitfalls and struggles of love.
Peters is credited with starting Barbra Streisand‘s career in the 1970s. After producing A Star Is Born, Peters went on to produce more iconic films of the last century, such as Caddyshack and Jack Nicholson‘s Batman.
At age 23, Anderson’s began modeling for Playboy magazine. She saw her biggest role in the 90s, when she was one of Baywatch‘s main characters. Last year, it was reported that Anderson was dating international fugitive and Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange.
