P. Diddy Denies Rumors Of Engagement To Cassie Ventura

Cassie Ventura and P. Diddy, also known as Sean Combs sparked rumors of an engagement last week when they posted photos of what seemed like an engagement ring on Instagram.

It began on Feb. 1, when Diddy shared a photo of a massive diamond ring on his Instagram page.

“Baby do you like it? I just want to get you wat you Like! I just wanna Mk you smile 🙂 #takeDat. !,” he wrote.

Cassie reportedly answered the post, writing, “I’m definitely smiling. It’s perfect!” A few days later, Cassie fueled rumors of an engagement when she posted a photo on her Instagram page of the couple, with her flashing a bright diamond ring on her ring finger.

Based on the two photos, it is unclear whether or not it is the same ring, and Diddy never specifically mentioned Cassie in the caption to the photo of the ring nor did he direct the message to her social media accounts. A rep for the rapper and business mogul told E! News that there has been no engagement.

Diddy and Cassie have been publicly dating since 2012, but are rumored to have been dating since long before then. The pair have been inciting engagement rumors for years, they were first rumored to be engaged in 2008. Cassie was signed to Diddy’s record label, Bad Boy Records, in the early 2000s. She recently released a mixtape RockaByeBaby.
