While Ozzy Osbourne‘s alleged ex-mistress Michelle Pugh claims that there was love between them, the Black Sabbath frontman has maintained that the relationship was merely another fix in his sex addiction.

Ozzy Osbourne And Michelle Pugh

When it came to light that Ozzy had been allegedly cheating on his wife Sharon Osbourne with hair stylist Pugh, it blew up his marriage. Sharon and Ozzy took some time off, but have since forged a reunion. While they work on their marriage, Ozzy is getting treatment for his sex addition in an in-patient program.

According to Pugh, what was between her and Ozzy was more than physical. At least on her side, it was love.

“When I say he gave me the greatest love of my life, I mean it,” Pugh told People. “He made me feel like the most beautiful and worshipped woman in the world.”

“I still love him,” Pugh added. “And I would never exploit the truly personal and private parts of what we had. That’s not me. I’m going to stand tall and proud and say, ‘This is me. I’m not ashamed.’ I fell in love with a man that gave me the love I never knew I could receive.”

In response to Pugh’s claims of love, Ozzy has released a statement in which he admitted that Pugh was not the only woman with whom he had recently had an affair. He also expressed his regret for the effects his addiction has had on his family, and thanked Sharon for standing by him.

“Over the last six years, I have been dealing with a sex addiction. I’m sorry if Ms Pugh took our sexual relationship out of context,” Ozzy said. “I’d also like to apologize to the other women I have been having sexual relationships with. Out of bad comes good. Since the press exposed this, I have gone into intense therapy. I am mortified at what my behavior has done to my family. I thank God that my incredible wife is at my side to support me.”
