With the iconic Golden Gate Bridge as its backdrop, this year’s Outside Lands Music Festival looks to bridge the gap between its headliners, Twenty One Pilots, Blink-182, Childish Gambino, Paul Simon and The Lumineers. In addition to the headliners are Grammy-award winner Kacey Musgraves, hip-hop legend Lil Wayne, newcomer Ella Mai, female MC CupCakKe and more.

Golden Gate Park, located in San Francisco, has hosted the festival since 2008, being one of the first to capitalize on the growing trend of music festivals in recent years. Music festivals have become a major social media influencer must, evolving from line-ups that included indie rock bands and contemporary artists to line-ups that feature artists like Beyoncé, Ariana Grande and Kendrick Lamar that range from genres like pop, R&B, hip-hop, rock and more.
