Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival in San Francisco has been moved to October 29-31 as COVID-19 restrictions keep people from gathering in large groups.

“Ranger dave hopes you’re ready for the ultimate halloween weekend,” the music festival’s Twitter account said, “outside lands is moving to october 29 – 31, 2021! 3-day tickets are on sale now.”

The lineup has changed a bit from the previous dates, and featured performers now include The Strokes, Lizzo, Glass Animals, Tame Impala, Tyler, the Creator, Vampire Weekend and Kehlani.

Tickets purchased for previously scheduled dates are still valid for the new show dates, according to the festival’s website. Outside Lands says ticket refunds are available through April 17 for those who cannot make the new dates.

“The decision to shift the festival dates is to ensure this year’s festival will be the safest possible environment for all of our fans, staff, artists and the world at large,” the festival’s account tweeted. “Please visit our health & safety page to learn more in the coming months.”

“The health and safety of the Outside Lands and San Francisco communities remains our top priority,” a statement on their website said. “We are working closely with local and state officials to create the safest festival experience possible. As guidance on openings of public gatherings is shifting rapidly, the move to October allows us the time to work collectively to determine any new safety procedures necessary to implement during the festival. In the meanwhile please do what you can to help us with this effort by continuing to wear your masks and getting your vaccine when it’s your turn!”
