While there were several fashion hits on Oscar Sunday's red carpet, there were a few misses as well, like Naomi Watts (pictured above). The actress, Oscar-nominated for her work in The Impossible, seems as though she was missing a sleeve of her silver Armani Prive dress, a look which doesn't quite suit her.
Melissa McCarthy, star of Mike and Molly and Identity Thief, opposite Jason Bateman, was overshadowed by her too-loose gray David Meister dress. The cinched material below the waist didn't flatter either.
Academy-Award-winning actress Meryl Streep, who presented the Best Actor Award to Daniel Day-Lewis on Sunday night, did not shine in her sparkly Lanvin dress. It was a nice effort, but the dress's drooping bust made Streep fall well short of the best-dressed list.
