Oscars Jump Forward

Next year’s Academy Awards have been pushed forward to their original time slot of late February. The announcement was made on Thursday by Oscar organizers and puts the 2011 Oscars a week earlier than the 2010 awards show, which was pushed back to avoid conflicting with the Winter Olympics. The 2011 Oscars will take place on Sunday, February 27. No word yet on whether Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin will return as hosts next year.  –KADEEN GRIFFITHS
