Impeached Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich says that he considered naming Oprah Winfrey to fill Barack Obama's Senate seat. "She seemed to be someone who had helped Barack Obama in a significant way to become president," the governor told Good Morning America on Monday morning. Blagojevich, who is refusing to attend his own impeachment trial, which started Monday for his allegedly attempting to sell Obama's Senate seat, said he ultimately ruled it out because it would look like "a gimmick." The governor, who is taking his case directly to the public, will appear on The View and Larry King Live. (Photo: WENN)
