Oprah, Alyssa Milano & More Celebs Tweet Imploring Fans To Vote In 2018 Midterm Elections

The 2018 midterm elections are underway on Tuesday, and dozens of celebrities used social media to urge Americans to vote in the many pivotal state races held across the country.

Oprah Winfrey, Amy Poehler, Alyssa Milano, Leonardo DiCaprio, Chrissy Teigen, Jimmy Kimmel and Nick Kroll were among the dozens of famous people who tweeted about the importance of voting on Tuesday.

Hundreds of people also used social media to share memes and GIFs comparing themselves voting in 2016 to voting this year. Most posts included the caption “me voting in 2016 vs. me voting in 2018” and showed photos of calm or happy people for the first image and then enraged people for the second picture.
