The 2018 midterm elections are underway on Tuesday, and dozens of celebrities used social media to urge Americans to vote in the many pivotal state races held across the country.
Oprah Winfrey, Amy Poehler, Alyssa Milano, Leonardo DiCaprio, Chrissy Teigen, Jimmy Kimmel and Nick Kroll were among the dozens of famous people who tweeted about the importance of voting on Tuesday.

Hundreds of people also used social media to share memes and GIFs comparing themselves voting in 2016 to voting this year.
