New text messages released by the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office shed more light on what may have led up to the death of Christian Obumseli.

Obumseli was in a relationship with Courtney Clenney, an OnlyFans star, who is facing a second-degree murder charge for her involvement.

The internet star, and Obumseli were in an argument when she allegedly drove a knife into his chest.

Clenney reported the incident to the police, telling the dispatcher that “my boyfriend is dying of a stab wound!”

More damming was when she added, “Baby, I’m so sorry!”

The released texts from Obumseli tell a story of possible abuse. The cryptocurrency trader wrote to Clenney weeks before the stabbing, “February was the worst month I had so far.”

He went on to describe Clenney’s specific behaviors. “I got cheated on,” he wrote. “I got called that word again. I got slapped in my stitches that has re-opened multiple times…”

“Did I make you feel like s— for stabbing me? No just sucked it up and hoped tomorrow will be better,” the texts read, revealing alleged physical abuse.

Another exchange between the two involved Obumseli having to stay in the hospital for some time due to a fight.

After the altercation, Clenney reportedly said to him, “Enjoy the hospital.”

The OnlyFans star’s defense claims that Obumseli was stalking her, and that his death was a mistake made in self-defense.

Frank Prieto, the defense lawyer, claimed that the texts did not show the entire story. Evidence that may backup Clenney’s side of the story comes in the form of a domestic violence call from the couple’s apartment’s lobby.

In a video, Miami cops can be seen speaking with Clenney as well as witnesses.

“I want a restraining order against Christian Obumseli,” she told police. A building employee told authorities that “her boyfriend comes charging towards her.”

The trail is set for December 19.
