Rockers OneRepublic is prepared to embark on their next tour, set to start in Colorado on August 9, and conclude on October 12, in Mexico
OneRepublic has long been credited with songs that blend the energy of pop with the nuance of alternative rock. This dynamic ensemble, formed in 2002, released their first album, Dreaming Out Loud, in 2007.
Currently comprised of six individuals, the band’s lineup features Ryan Tedder as the lead vocalist, Zach Filkins and Drew Brown on guitars, Brian Willett on piano, Brent Kutzle on cello, and Eddier Fisher on drums.
OneRepublic has assembled an impressive discography, with five studio albums and one live album, as well as multiple chart-topping singles featured in acclaimed films and soundtracks.
The band has had significant commercial success, with four of their songs reaching the coveted Billboard’s Top 10 charts and an additional 15 securing a spot on the Top 100. Their most celebrated hit, “Counting Stars,” soared to the No. 2 position and remained on the chart for 68 weeks. “Counting Stars” accumulated over 2.2 billion streams on Spotify, while the anthemic “I Ain’t Worried” follows closely with 1.3 billion streams. Another iconic OneRepublic track, “Apologize,” has achieved over 700 million streams.
The band’s commendations extend beyond their commercial achievements, with a Grammy nomination for “Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal” in 2009 for “Apologize.” This song also earned them the prestigious “Best International Song” award at the LOS40 Music Awards, a prestigious Spanish awards show, in 2008.
