One Direction Star Liam Payne Ordered 9 Bottles Of Whisky & 13 Grams Of Cocaine Shortly Before Falling To His Death

Former One Direction singer Liam Payne ordered nine bottles of whisky and 13 grams of cocaine shortly before his death, prosecutors claimed in court filings.

Payne allegedly went on a bender the night before and morning of his fatal fall from a third-story balcony at CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentino. Prosecutors had mapped out a timeline of Payne’s final hours, from his orders of whisky to texting friend Rogelio Nores that he was going to see a prostitute and again later for cocaine.

The timeline for each event was 10 p.m. on Oct. 15 and 9:32 a.m. on Oct. 16.

Prosecutors claimed Nores, an Argentinian businessman previously identified as Payne’s manager, arrived at the hotel for breakfast. During their meal, a maid cleaning Payne’s hotel room when he returned and frantically looked for something and eventually found a “powder.”

At 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 16, two prostitutes allegedly entered his room, though it is unclear who called them. The two women claimed to police that they slept with Payne before he asked them for more cocaine.

The X Factor alum refused to pay the prostitutes for their services and became enraged when they continued to request compensation for their services, leading him to punch the television in his room three times.

By 2 p.m., the “Night Changes” crooner asked for another seven grams of cocaine before Nores came back to CasaSur at 3:45 p.m. to pay the prostitutes. Fifteen minutes later, hotel staff said they saw Payne was visibly drunk with dilated pupils.

Nores left the hotel at 4:04 p.m., shortly before a housekeeper heard Payne destroying his room. They recalled how they tried to call Nores, but he did not pick up. By 4:25 p.m., the businessman texted Payne, asking, “How are you?” But the text went unanswered.

Nores is one of the three people being charged in connection with Payne’s death, with prosecutors claiming he knew about the former boy band member’s death and failed to tell his family about it.

Payne’s father, Geoff Payne, told authorities that Nores had volunteered to take care of his son and arranged to put him in rehab in May. Geoff told Nores it was critical that Liam stay busy and never be left alone to sustain his sobriety.

However, Geoff knew something was wrong in September when Liam fired a bodyguard for trying to stop him from using drugs.

Nores has denied any involvement in Liam’s death and claims he was with him up until an hour after he fell. However, a judge dismissed the charges against Nores, ruling that local prosecutors should pursue abandonment cases. Although the national prosecutors tried to appeal this ruling, it was rejected, and no local prosecutors have filed charges.

Two men – an alleged drug dealer and hotel employee – have also been charged in Payne’s death for supplying him with drugs

Payne’s downward spiral started when he was dropped by his record label just weeks before his death.
