Omarosa Manigault, 42, is getting hired by the Donald Trump administration.
Manigault was a memorable contestant on season one of The Apprentice, and left the show nine episodes in after Trump told her, “You’re fired.” The show portrayed her as a cut-throat contestant during the season, and she reappeared in future seasons of the show, as well as other reality TV series.
“Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump,” Manigault said in a PBS interview. “It is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe.”
According to two people in the know who chose to remain anonymous, Manigault’s job will focus on public engagement. She claims to have worked with Trump previously over the years and has served as his campaign’s African-American outreach director. In addition, Manigault found herself serving in the White House years ago in Vice President Al Gore‘s office during the Bill Clinton administration.
