The Apprentice alum Omarosa Manigault Newman isn’t mincing words about her former mentor Donald Trump’s political future.
During a press tour for E!’s House of Villains, Omarosa had some harsh comments for the ex-president.
“I think it would be very hard for Donald Trump to run for president from jail,” she said, referring to his numerous legal issues. “For me, I just can’t believe I fell for a con man, a con man who turned out to be the biggest fraud.”
Omarosa served as an assistant to the president during the Trump administration, beginning in January 2017, but was then fired by the White House Chief of Staff John Kelly just short of a year into her role for “significant integrity issues.”
Trump currently is facing several criminal legal cases. He also facing a civil case in New York that threatens to dissolve his company, the Trump Organization.
The Trump campaign was ordered to pay Omarosa $1.3 million in legal fees after it sued her for violating her confidentiality agreement and lost.
The show, House of Villains, features Omarosa, alongside other infamous reality stars competing for a $200,000 cash prize. The series premiered on October 12.
