Olivia Wilde And Prince Husband Call It Quits

After eight years of marriage, Olivia Wilde, 26, has parted ways with Tao Ruspoli, 35, her Italian prince husband.

The TRON: Legacy star met Ruspoli, a filmmaker / musician and the son of the late Italian Prince Dado Ruspoli, when she was merely 18, and the duo eloped just six months later, getting hitched on an abandoned school bus in Virginia, reports Us Weekly.

"They have been separated for awhile," an insider told the magazine. Another source confirmed that the split "was Olivia's decision … for the typical Hollywood reasons. Her career has exploded and she saw being married is not as much fun." Ruspoli, on the other hand, "is heartbroken and really wanted to stay together."

A third source blames the split on age. "Olivia got married really young … they've just grown in different directions." —KIMBERLY STEELE
