British actress Olivia Colman was spotted this week shooting scenes for the award-winning Netflix series The Crown.
Colman, 44, is set to play Queen Elizabeth II in season three of the drama show, which is set to premiere in 2019. In this scene, she plays the monarch visiting the 1966 Aberfan disaster, where 144 people died. Colman replaces Claire Foy, who played the queen in the first two seasons.
Colman is most known for her roles in the BBC series The Night Manager, as well as in the films The Lobster and The Iron Lady. She will next re-team with The Lobster director Yorgos Lanthimos for the period drama The Favourite, which is set to be released on Nov. 23 and co-stars Rachel Weisz, Emma Stone and Nicholas Hoult.
