When President Obama released his long-form birth certificate to the public, he hoped to put the issue to rest forever. Perversely, it just got birther Donald Trump and others more sympathetic in Hollywood talking more about the issue. "I am so proud of myself," the Celebrity Apprentice star said at a press conference. "I got this guy to release his birth certificate. I'm really, really happy."

Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane characteristically brought humor to the subject. “Now that we've seen his birth certificate, I want to see proof that President Obama is black,” he tweeted.
