Some big properties grace the Nintendo eShop this Friday, giving players two vast lands to travel.

NINTENDO ESHOP RELEASES – 11/16/2017

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim launches this Friday for the Nintendo Switch. While most people with a passing interest in Bethesda’s modern classic have probably already played it, the Switch does give you the benefit of portability. Moreover, this iteration does bring forth exclusive motion controls and, if you have the requisite amiibo, items based on Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda series.

As usual, several interesting indie titles grace the Switch this week, too, from the genre-breaking Battle Chef Brigade to the popular side-scroller VVVVVV.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, for the Nintendo 3DS, will finally put you to the test tomorrow, expanding Alola with familiar Pokémon and foes alike! Team Rainbow Rocket, led by resurgent villain Giovanni, is planning something devious! Plus, the legendary Necrozma has two new forms to unlock and battle with. I enjoyed my time with the original Sun and Moon, and their Ultra versions should be an improvement.
