Ahoy, friends! An overlooked Wii U title is getting a second lease on life on a platform that’s actually selling!
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, the latest entry in a series I’m a fan of, quietly launched for the Wii U back in 2014 to a chilly reception. Thankfully, its Switch port launches tomorrow, and public opinion of the game has turned around. I’ll pick this one up and review it for sure, but I can assure you now that it’s a really good side-scroller. It’s pretty challenging too, but thankfully Funky Kong can help you out if you’re having a hard time in his New Funky Mode!
