Nina Agdal Subs In For Kate Upton As Jake Davidson’s Prom Date

Jake Davidson posted a video earlier this year in which he creatively asked super model and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover girl Kate Upton to go to prom with him. Upton, although flattered by the video proposal, couldn’t fit the prom into her busy schedule. But Davidson wasn’t disappointed for long, as Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition’s 2012 Rookie of the Year Nina Agdal jumped at the chance to accompany him.

"Jake was waiting to hear from Kate and when Nina heard about it she said, 'If Kate can't go, I'd like to go' because she never got to go to her prom," the young man’s mother, Cheryl Davidson told The Sun.

Not only did Agdal show up for Davidson's prom, she also spent the whole day leading up to it with him before they headed over to the Annenberg Community Beach House in Santa Monica. The super model wore a moss green halter-top gown, while Davidson got spiffy in a charcoal gray tuxedo with a black bow tie.

"This prom has been incredible," Davidson said after the event. "Nina Agdal is like so down to earth. Really cool, really nice. It was a great day,” he gushed. “I really enjoyed it."

Agnal echoed Davidson’s sentiments, tweeting a photo of the them as a prom couple on Thursday night with the caption, “Had such a great prom night. Thank you @jakedavidson23 for being an awesome date!"
