Nicollette Sheridan is lashing out against Desperate Housewives' creator Marc Cherry for killing of her character Edie Britt. "I think whoever Edie represented in Marc's life was somebody he didn't like," Sheridan tells TV Guide. "He had a very difficult time distinguishing between fact and fiction." Twisting the knife, she adds: “When the show started … it was exciting and dangerous and funny and edgy and bizarre,” says Sheridan. “It started feeling a little complacent, and that was very frustrating.” For his part, Cherry offered faint praise for Sheridan: "[she] performed the aging neighborhood tramp better than anyone has ever done.” (Photo: WENN)
