Nicole Kidman Refuses Scientology Questions

In a new interview promoting her film, Nine, Nicole Kidman clammed up when asked an unusual question about her views on Scientology. British reporter Andrew Marr asked, “One of the things you haven’t talked about before… Scientology… It is, many people would say, a bullying cult. ” Kidman, surprised, responded, “I just don’t… This is not… I’m here to publicize Nine.” The exchange was left out of the final cut for Marr’s show but was posted online by the BBC. –Joe Galbo
