Nicole Kidman & Javier Bardem Celebrate ‘Being The Ricardos’ Premiere
Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem celebrated at the after-party for the premiere of Amazon Studios’ Being The Ricardos at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
Kidman, 54, who plays Lucille Ball in the film, switched out her stunning red carpet gown for a blazer mini dress as she partied with her on-screen husband, Bardem, who plays Desi Arnaz at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in L.A.
Being The Ricardos is a biographical drama that follows the relationship between I Love Lucy stars Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. Written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, the film reveals the couple’s messy romantic and professional relationship. The audience gets to see the inner workings of the writers’ room, onto the soundstage and behind closed doors. This happens during one busy production week of the well-known sitcom I Love Lucy.
Ball and Arnaz married in 1940, starred in their hit sitcom from 1951 to 1957 and divorced in 1960.
The film received a limited theatrical release by Amazon Studios earlier this month, is playing in theaters, and will stream worldwide on December 21.
