Nicole Kidman Encourages Her Nepobaby Daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, 16, After Negative Reviews Of First Fashion Show
Actress Nicole Kidman has shared the advice she gave her daughter before her first fashion show.
Sunday Rose Kidman Urban took to the red carpet as a new model earlier this month. Sunday, 16, made her runway debut on the last day of Paris Fashion Week when she opened Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2025 show.
Kidman relayed her advice to E! News: “I was just like, ‘You got this baby.’ I’m trying to give her her own space, you know? [Not be] overbearing or dominant in any way.”
Kidman went on to say that she is “incredibly proud and supportive” of her daughter.
The teen wore a white babydoll dress with a sash that swayed as she moved, with a black bodysuit underneath. She styled the dress with black and white heels and dark gray leg warmers.
Sunday and her mother later attended the fashion house’s dinner party at the famous Paris restaurant Gigi. Sunday changed into a cropped navy sweater and a black mini skirt and Kidman wore a black sweater over a white collared shirt with a plaid gray skirt.
Sunday’s runway debut was met with mixed responses. Many pointed out the clear nepotism at play, as the teen did not possess the same grace as the other models and despite the praise she received from supporters of Kidman, Sunday was roasted for “stomping” her way down the red carpet.
Shortly after reviews of Sunday’s catwalk came out, Kidman shared that she was extremely disappointed with the reactions her teen daughter had received. Kidman reportedly said that she was the same age as Sunday when she landed her first on-screen role and was promptly told to pursue other career paths.
Kidman shares her daughters Sunday and Faith Margaret, 13, with her husband Keith Urban, and her two adult children Bella and Connor with her ex, Tom Cruise.
