Nicole Eggert Files Police Report Against Scott Baio

Nicole Eggert has filed a police report against Scott Baio for alleged sexual assault when Eggert was a minor.

NICOLE EGGERT FILES POLICE REPORT AGAINST SCOTT BAIO

The pair co-starred on Charles in Charge in the late ’80s and early ’90s. Eggert came forward about her accusations on Megyn Kelly Today, and is now taking police action after Baio denied her claims on Good Morning America. He insisted that nothing happened between the actors until after Eggert had turned 18. He also claims that she begged him to have a sexual relationship with her.

“I was still 14, before my 15th birthday, and we were at his house in his car in his garage, and he reached over and he penetrated me with his finger,” Eggert told Kelly on her show. “And that is when the sexual touching and abuse started, after that.”

Days after Eggert’s accusation, Baio took to Facebook Live and posted a 16-minute video denying all allegations. “I’m here today to talk about some allegations that have been made against me that aren’t true by somebody named Nicole Eggert. The reason I’m doing Facebook Live is because nobody can edit me, nobody can change what I said. These are my words. And what I’m telling you is the truth,” he said. “I’m going to knock down all these false claims against me. My reputation is being damaged. My family is being put through this and I’m done. I’m done. So, I’m going to walk you through this methodically and hopefully succinctly and please be patient because what I’m being accused of is horrible.”

He also told her she should file a police report if she really thought something wrong happened between them and she responded that she might just do that. “Why would I have a concern over something that I didn’t do?” he told host GMA Amy Robach when she asked if he was concerned.

Now Eggert has taken Baio’s advice and filed a police report against him. She and lawyer Lisa Bloom are gearing up for court and Bloom tweeted that, “We will fully cooperate with the LAPD investigation. Many have reached out to Nicole and me to say that they witnessed inappropriate behavior from Scott Baio when Nicole was underage. If anyone else has information about this matter please contact us.”

A rep for Baio has yet to respond.
