Nicolas Cage has revealed the gender and name of the baby he’ll be having with his wife, Riko Shibata. Cage and Shibata were married in February of 2021, and this will be the actor’s third child.

When he was stopping by The Kelly Clarkson Show, Cage began with a seemingly-random mention of his love for The Beatles’ song “Across The Universe,” but then went on to say “I’m going to have a little girl.” Cage then added, “Because of ‘Across the Universe,’ her name is gonna be Lennon Augie, Augie after my father.”
Cage also mentioned that he had thought of the nickname “Lenny” for his daughter if the first name becomes too cumbersome.
The actor’s first son, from his relationship with the actress Christina Fulton, Weston Coppola Cage, was born in 1990, and he has given him two grandsons born in 2014 and 2016. Cage also had a son in 2005 with his third wife, Alice Kim, who was named Kal-El Cage after Superman’s home planet title.
