Actor Nicolas Cage filed for an annulment after an impromptu marriage to girlfriend Erika Koike.

The couple said their “I Do’s” while spending time in Las Vegas Saturday and by Wednesday, the 55-year-old actor decided to call it quits. When asked for a comment, Cage did not immediately respond.

However, Cage is no stranger to the married life as he has been married three times previously. The first was to actress Patricia Arquette, in April 1995. The two later divorced in 2001. Following, Cage married Lisa Marie Presley in August 2002 only to file for divorce in November of that year. The divorce was finalized in 2004.

Cage’s longest marriage, was his 12 year stint to Alice Kim. The couple was together from 2004 to 2016 and have a son together named Kal-El Cage. When they split, the actor said the end of their relationship was a shock for him, and all his feelings went into his performance in his thriller film Mandy.

When asked if they would be able to stay friends, Cage responded, “Oh yes, I want to. She was quite young when I married her and I don’t really have any ill will towards what happened. That’s all I’ll say.”

As for Cage and Koike, they kept their relationship away from the public’s prying eyes. They had only been spotted twice, once while vacationing in Puerto Rico in April of 2018 and later photographed in May of that year while out to dinner in Los Angeles.

This will now be the fourth failed marriage for the movie star.
