Nicki Minaj Offers To Pay For College For 14-Year-Old Boy Who Killed His Mother’s Attacker

Nicki Minaj has offered to pay for college for a 14-year-old boy after he killed a man who attacked his mother in a Chicago fast-food restaurant.

Minaj is publicly offered her support of the young boy’s actions on her Instagram stories.

“That 14-year-old boy that backed dat hammer out when that grown a– man was punching his mother in the face as if she were a MAN; is a true hero,” she said. “If he wants to go to college, I’d love to help. It’s what ANY son should’ve done for their MOTHER. She raised a dope kid & should be so proud. Also, God knew b4 she knew; that she’d be attacked that day & made sure they had protection on DECK. God is GOOD.”

The shooting occurred last week at a fast food restaurant when Jeremy Brown got into an argument with Charlisha Hood and then began to repeatedly hit her on the head.

Her son came to her protection and shot Brown multiple times in the back.

Brown ran out of the restaurant, and Hood and her son followed him. The teen continued to shoot him. Brown immediately died from gunshot wounds.

Hood and her son were charged with first-degree murder.

Hood was additionally charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Both charges were dropped by prosecutors after a video of the incident surfaced. The state attorney stated that they were “unable to meet our burden of proof in the prosecution of these cases.”

Originally, there was only security camera footage that showed the teen shooting Brown in the restaurant and parking lot, but a video was released before the shooting of Hood’s assault.

The mother and son spoke about a lawsuit they filed against the city of Chicago. They are claiming that their arrest by police was an “obvious rush to judgment.”  The lawsuit specifically accuses five police officers and the city of intentional infliction of emotional distress, malicious prosecution and false arrest. Their attorney, Brandon Brown, plans on filing additional lawsuits.
