“I think I have what I was striving for, just happiness,” said the female rapper. “It was so hard to get to a happy place. Now that I’m there, I don’t want to compromise that for anyone or anything.”

Minaj continued to refer to Petty as her husband.

“Every night when I get out of the shower, my husband takes this really good lotion that we just bought and he massages my feet and rubs them,” she said. “He rubs each toe individually, and the heel and the ball of my foot–he does it all.”

Minaj and Petty made their relationship official in December 2018 on Instagram.

There is no news about when the actual wedding will occur.

Petty has been reported to be a registered sex offender in the state of New York. In 1995 he was convicted on a first-degree attempted rape charge related to an incident from the year before.
