Nick Cannon, host of The Masked Singer, has tested positive for COVID-19.
Actress Nicey Nash will fill in as host while Cannon takes a hiatus from the singing completion while he quarantines and recovers from the virus.
The fifth season of The Masked Singer will premiere in March with “more legends, bigger spectacle, crazier surprises,” the show teased on Instagram. Production is set to begin Thursday.
Cannon is expected to return to the show later in the season, but Nash is no stranger to The Masked Singer, she served as a guest panelist last season.
Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke and Jenny McCarthy are set to return as judges.
LeAnn Rimes was crowned as the season four winner of the competition in December.
